Halloween Town: Trees

I created this hub as an extension of the Halloween Town hub I made that talks about how to make the buildings for this Halloween Town.  I didn't want the hub to be over crowded with directions so I decided to split it into different parts! So here are the directions on making the trees!

• brown or white construction paper
• water color paints (if you didn't have brown construction paper)
• scissors
• pencil
  

Once again, I would suggest making a template of different trees so that you can just trace them and save the templates for next year. If you don't want to make templates then just make some trees!

Please note I don't have exact directions on how to make these trees I simply took the construction paper and started cutting because I just couldn't get it to look right when I was trying to draw it out. Which ever way you works best for you go for it! I simply took the scissors and started to cut and I came up with these four trees. I did take a picture of the trees and gave an idea of what they looked like if you were to use them to cut out! You can print them and cut them out if you like but I would just use them as a general idea and give your trees some character!

After I cut out the trees, if you were like me and didn't have brown construction paper you will want your trees to be brown. I chose to use kid's water color paints because I didn't like the crayon look and my only brown marker was dying! But you can decide what you would rather. I personally really like the look that the brown water color gave. Personal preference!

Now, just wait for them to dry and you are done! The trees are super simple!
